When building body strength, resistance training can be one of the most productive techniques to keep your body strong and tone without any weights or sweat.
But this is not the best way
to handle life.
As I review the scope of what I want to share….
I see that this is going to be a book.
I’ll start with some fundamentals
This has been an unusually cold winter.
Is there heat?
Is there cold?
There is no cold. We cannot measure cold.
We can only measure the absence of heat…
down to 458 degrees below zero.
We cannot get colder… that is the absolute absence of heat.
0 degrees Kelvin
Is there darkness?
There is only the absence of light.
Is there death?
No, there is only the absence of measurable life (here on this planet)
Is there evil?
No, there is just the resistance of good.
And that is where I want to speak to you.
If you want to live a good life…
You have to stop resisting good.
You have to stop resisting life.
Yeah, easier said than done.
If you want to strengthen your muscles.
you use resistance training to build them up.
If you hurt your arm…
you immobilize it.
Break your leg
you cast it up.
You find healing to our natural state when the resistance is gone.
People who are in emotional anguish, financial difficulties or lost their heart
often have great resistance.
Resistance to life
resistance to health
resistance to reality
even resistance to love.
If you want to be a light to the world…
stop looking for darkness.
If you want to live life to the lees and suck out the marrow of life…
then by all means, stop doubting and having negative thoughts.
If you want to have an impact in the world…
influential, financial, relational, or ????
then you must cease living only in your dreams.
